In January of this year Bishops Waltham Removals worked towards meeting the standards for CHAS accreditation.
We were successful!
This means that we are one of a limited number of removals firms who have been vetted for our site surveys, awareness of health and safety legislation, client communication and preventative strategies for handling risks including manual handling training.
As well as residential moves,we offer services to corporate clients and public bodies, our work for these sectors has included planning museum collection moves, the moving of archives, NHS files, furniture and equipment. We have been involved with school refurbishments and church moves.
We can do a risk assessment for each job that is emailed upon request. This assessment includes strategies put in place for human safety and for the safety of the objects: from antiques and art in the home, to objects of historical interest “cultural property” in the institution, ensuring that their condition is well maintained, during transportation and or/storage.
